Throughout California, technology-based classroom tools are changing the
way educators teach and students learn. As leaders in this change, California's
Model Technology Schools Collaborative (CMTSC) has joined to develop, demonstrate
and disseminate effective classroom practices that enhance curriculum through
a range of educational technologies, including: (a) Video and computer-based
lessons that increase oral and written language skills, as well as motivate
elementary school students in mathematics; (b) Instructional television
programs that challenge high school science students to think visually
about complex systems; (c) Electronic databases that improve student problem-solving
skills in all grades; and (d) School and district technology planning. |
