Organization Profile:
MiraCosta College's Biotechnology Program gives students the theoretical background as well as the practical experience necessary to be an effective lab technician. This program was designed by working scientists and biotech company managers with certificates and degrees that can be finished in one to four semesters of full-time study. Better than 90% of program graduates have been placed with starting salaries averaging above $30,000 per year.
