Organization Profile:
The American Society of Microbiology is the world's largest life science organization, with over 50,000 members in academia, industry, clinical laboratories, and government. The Southern California Branch's annual conference features a precollege session for teachers and students intrested in microbiology. We provide judges for projects and awards for the Greater San Diego Science & Engineering Fair, act as a resource for the Microbiology Literacy Cooperative, and we provide hands-on classroom or lab activities for teachers and students.
