2009 Saturday Inquiry Workshop Series for High School Life Science Teachers
Date(s): 11/14/2009 to 11/14/2009 Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm Description: The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center Presents: The 2009 Saturday Inquiry Workshop Series for High School Life Science Teachers Join other San Diego County high school life science teachers at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center for a 4 part workshop series designed with the secondary science curriculum in mind. Each Saturday workshop will focus on a different facet of inquiry pedagogy and be accompanied by high school student Science Ambassadors from Health Science High School and Middle College who will share their learning process and experience in the high school classroom. Applicants must be able to commit to all four Saturdays: May 2, 2009 June 13, 2009 September 12, 2009 November 14, 2009 A $600 stipend is provided for teachers who attend all 4 workshops, and the program is limited to 30 participants.
