Description:
Ready to open your classroom to the World Wide Web? In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of iWeb™ and how to best incorporate music, video, photos, and podcasts into your website. This workshop is geared for educators using the Mac platform, with beginner to advanced computer skills. Prior iWeb™ experience is not required. The final outcome of this workshop will be to create a webpage that is functional, informative, and full of pizzazz!

You will learn all aspects of iWeb™ including:
* The use of templates to professionalize your website
* How to add and edit images and text
* What, why, and when to use the Inspector
* Get information on publishing your webpage to either a .Mac account or a school account

What to bring:
* a Mac laptop with iWeb™ installed
(Note: .Mac subscription to host your website is advisable but not necessary to build your webpage.)
* School resources to enhance your webpage (planner, school calendar)

Registration is free. Space is limited.
