Workshop Description:
Microsoft Excel isn't just for financial professionals. This spreadsheet and analysis program offers intuitive tools for educators that make it easy to access, connect, and analyze your classroom data! This course will give you the skills to create, edit, format, and print basic worksheets and charts in Excel. We will also cover topics such as streamlining and enhancing spreadsheets with templates, charts, graphics, and advanced formulas
Participants will learn the many valuable features of Excel, such as how to:
- create a basic worksheet
- modify a worksheet
- perform calculations
- format a worksheet
- develop a workbook
- print the contents of a workbook
- customize the layout of the Excel window
- create and apply templates
- create and modify charts
- work with graphic objects
- calculate with advanced formulas
- sort and filter data
- use Excel with the web
Workshop Highlights:
- Onsite computer lab for teacher use or bring your personal laptop along with you Classroom student aides.
- Hands on time to practice
