TeacherTECH Tools Series: Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint for the Classroom - Thursday, July 9, 2009, 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Elementary School, Middle School, High School, Community College and Adult Education Educators are Invited to attend our TeacherTECH Technology Tools Series focused on using advanced Microsoft PowerPoint tools in the classroom.

Workshop Description:
Microsoft PowerPoint is a great tool for creating student and parent presentations for your classroom. It is a feature-rich, easy-to-use program that enables you to create presentation slides that combine text, clip art, drawings, tables, and charts and graphs. In this advanced workshop, you'll learn how to add audio, video and animation content to your presentations. You will also receive pointers on providing tips to your students on how best to take advantage of course content presented with PowerPoint. Please note that it is important that you have either taken a PowerPoint Basics Course or have experience working with PowerPoint before taking this workshop.

Participants will learn:
* Custom animation
- Animate charts, text, pictures, shapes, and objects
- Motion Path (Windows)
- How to add video
- How to add audio
- To individual slides
- Play throughout whole presentation
- Narration

Workshop Highlights and What to Expect:
* Onsite computer lab for teacher use or bring your personal laptop along with you
* Tutors are available.
* Hands on time to practice
