Dear Marine, Coastal and Watershed Organizations; schools; environmental clubs; and others,

Each fall, people all over the country participate in COASTWEEKS, a celebration of our coastal and water resources. This year the event takes place from September 19 to October 11, kicked off by the 25th annual California Coastal Cleanup Day. The California Coastal Commission will feature and publicize a calendar of events in a special section of our website. Special events created for COASTWEEKS and prescheduled coast- and water-related events are eligible. We encourage events from throughout the state. This celebration is a great way to expand your outreach and to participate in a nation-wide effort to encourage appreciation and preservation of our coast and our inland waterways. And it’s free!
